Imagine this. You are in a room with no windows. There are people all around you. But they can’t talk to you, look at you, or even acknowledge you. You might as well be invisible or dead. For most people, this would sound like a nightmare, but this was the experience of our guest Michael Lehre as a Jehovah’s Witness.

Michael Lehre was born and raised Jehovah’s Witness. He felt he had the true religion until one day when he met a man who claimed he had the true religion. Michael didn’t know it, but a seed had been planted. He began to secretly explore the Bible. The more he studied, the more he realized that everything he had ever in told was a lie. His life began to fall apart and he was disfellowshipped from his congregation. He felt so worthless he attempted suicide multiple times. At his lowest point, he cried out to God to reveal Himself and God answered.

Tune in to Educate For Life to hear this amazing and powerful story. You will hear how Michael Lehre, through the power of Jesus Christ, turned his life around and gained a new identity. Was Hitler a Christian? (Guest: Dr. Richard Weikart)

Was Hitler a Christian? (Guest: Dr. Richard Weikart)

Play

Christianity is often associated with the worst moments in history. The salem witch trials, the crusades and the holocaust just to name a few. Critics claim that because of these events, Christians can’t claim that Christianity is better than any other religion. After all, they claim, Hitler was a Christian and look at all the horrible things he did. But is this claim true? Was Hitler a Christian? Today of Kevin’s show, we have guest Dr. Richard Weikart to answer that questions.

Dr. Richard Weikart is Professor of History at California State University, Stanislaus. He completed his Ph.D. in modern European history at the University of Iowa in 1994, receiving the biennial prize of the Forum for History of Human Sciences for the best dissertation in that field. His book, From Darwin to Hitler: Evolutionary Ethics, Eugenics, and Racism in Germany, documents the influence of naturalistic evolution on ethical thought, euthanasia, militarism, racism, and ultimately Hitler’s ideology. For more information on this book, go to www.darwintohitler.com. Dr. Weikart has also written Hitler’s Ethic: The Nazi Pursuit of Evolutionary Progress, which helps explain the mystery of Hitler’s pernicious ideology by demonstrating that Hitler’s immorality flowed from a coherent ethic, inspired by an evolutionary utopian project of biologically improving the human race.

Join us for an exciting show as Kevin and Dr. Richard Weikart discuss the underpinnings of Hitler’s ideology and determine whether Hitler was a Christian, an evolutionist, or something else entirely. The answer may surprise you. Don’t miss it.

Could another ice age be coming? (Guests Dr. Jason Lisle and Dr. Jake Hebert)

Could another ice age be coming? (Guests Dr. Jason Lisle and Dr. Jake Hebert)

Play

Climate change is a big topic today and is hotly debated. It has been held responsible for hurricanes, tornadoes, and the ice age. Main stream scientists believe it has been responsible for a series of ice ages over millions of years. In fact, they warn that if we’re not careful about what we do with the environment, another ice age will be triggered causing a worldwide catastrophe. But are they right? How many ice ages have there been? How volatile is our environment currently? Today on Kevin’s show we have two experts that have been studying this very topic. They will share how much environmental science has been influenced by the worldview of the scientists doing the research. Dr. Jason Lisle and Dr. Jake Hebert will share exciting research that supports a biblical view of science and a single ice age caused by a worldwide flood.

Dr. Hebert is a research associate at the Institute for Creation Research. He joined ICR in 2011 as a research associate and focuses much of his work on climates before and after Noah’s Flood, among other research endeavors. He earned a master’s degree in physics in 1999 from Texas A&M University, where he studied optics and was a Dean’s Graduate Fellow 1995-1996. He received his Ph.D. in 2011 from the University of Texas at Dallas, where his research involved a study of the possible connection between fair-weather atmospheric electricity and weather and climate.

Dr. Jason Lisle is the Director of Physical Sciences and the Institute for Creation Research and leads ICR’s gifted team of physical scientists who continue to investigate and demonstrate the evidence for creation. He graduated summa cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University where he double-majored in physics and astronomy and minored in mathematics. He earned a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in astrophysics at the University of Colorado. Dr. Lisle specialized in solar astrophysics and has made a number of scientific discoveries regarding the solar photosphere and has contributed to the field of general relativity.

These two experts will share their wealth of knowledge today on Kevin’s show and will share evidence that supports a biblical ice age. You will also learn just how much science is influenced by the worldview of the scientist. Tune in for an exciting, informative show. If you want to learn more about Dr. Lisle and Dr. Hebert and the research they’re involved in, you can visit icr.org.
