Solving The Immigration Crisis – Esther Valdez

The issue of immigration is a hot topic in American culture. The debate rages in the political sphere between those who want to build a wall and limit immigration and those who want an open border to allow everyone in. So who’s right? What do we do with the undocumented immigrants who are already here?

Today on Education For Life Radio, Kevin’s guest is Esther Valdez. She is an attorney who specializes in immigration law. Esther Valdés is the Principal Attorney at Valdés & Associates, located in San Diego, California. The firm represents clients in Immigration cases, in California, Arizona and Texas. Ms. Valdes is regularly featured on Telemundo Network News Program, “Al Rojo Vivo”, and has been interviewed by the Los Angeles Times, San Diego Union Tribune, Enlace Spanish magazine, and Reuters, regarding Immigration and Mexican Asylum cases.

Ms. Valdés serves as a volunteer for the San Diego County Office of Education, Migrant Education Program, and serves as a frequent guest speaker for Hispanic youth.

Ms. Valdés attained her law degree from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall), where she studied Immigration and Asylum Law, and was an Associate Editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law, as well as the La Raza Law Journal.
