When Denise was 9 years old, her father sat down with her and explained how he wanted to become a woman. This was too much for a 9-year-old to understand and process. It caused her to become confused about her own gender and to develop a hatred toward her father.
Years later she reconciled with her father and began to understand why he was the way he was, Now Denise runs a ministry called Help 4 Families focused on helping to heal families and individuals that have been negatively impacted by transgender family members.
