[00:00:13] there is a woman who joined isis at 19 years old she was a u.s woman she joined isis and

[00:00:21] she now regrets it and is trying to get back into the u.s she says here i’ve realized i made a big

[00:00:29] mistake and i know i’ve ruined my future and my son’s future and i deeply deeply regret it

[00:00:34] muthana told the guardian i would tell them the u.s officials please forgive me for being so ignorant

[00:00:39] i was really young and ignorant and i was 19 when i decided to leave i believe that america gives second

[00:00:45] chances i want to return and i’ll never come back to the middle east american take

[00:00:50] america can take my passport and i wouldn’t mind she said muthana is originally from hoover alabama in 2014 while a student at the

[00:00:58] university of alabama at birmingham she told her family she was traveling to atlanta to attend a school trip instead she

[00:01:04] boarded a plane to turkey and ultimately settled in syria muthana had been talking with members of

[00:01:10] the islamic state online and spent months secretly planning the move when she arrived in syria she

[00:01:16] began working as a recruiter for isis on twitter she was raised in a muslim family

[00:01:21] but they don’t agree with the extreme views of isis she’s been married three times since arriving in syria her first two husbands

[00:01:28] died while fighting for isis after the death of her first husband she tweeted america’s weight americans wake

[00:01:34] up men and women all together you have you have much to do while you live under our greatest enemy

[00:01:39] enough of your sleeping go on drive-bys spill all of their blood or rent a big truck and drive all over

[00:01:45] them uh kill them when speaking of the guardian mathona said she was arrogant and

[00:01:50] brainwashed she said she hasn’t been in contact with u.s officials mathona’s attorney

[00:01:56] hassan shibley told the the newspaper he made contact with the fbi in order to

[00:02:01] arrange for fbi officials to question her and take her into custody however he said u.s officials haven’t shown interest in her case

[00:02:08] and uh just recently about yesterday actually i believe it was trump actually said

[00:02:13] that they’re not going to be allowing her back into the u.s and you know currently the muslim

[00:02:20] population in america is increasing it’s about as far as i understand about a hundred thousand per year increase and i thought it was

[00:02:27] important to get the perspective of somebody who actually has a ministry to muslims

[00:02:33] his name is pastor george syed and pastor george i wanted to welcome you to the program today thank you so much

[00:02:39] brother it’s honor to be here absolutely and i think what you’re doing is so critical and so

[00:02:44] important and for our listeners out there to know how to pray for what you’re doing

[00:02:49] how to pray for muslims in our country and around the world who need the love of jesus and your

[00:02:55] website’s ministry to muslims.com is that right yes ministry 2 which is t-o yeah

[00:03:01] muslims.com yeah okay great now um so pastor pastor george why don’t you

[00:03:07] take us back to um your life uh you know when you grew up

[00:03:13] um you were not a muslim but you did grow up in sudan can you take us back to your upbringing your family and when you met

[00:03:20] christ personally sure um my parents were originally my grandparents from syria my

[00:03:27] parents were born in sudan but with a syrian background we were roman catholic

[00:03:32] and we grew up as a roman catholic but we were very nominal like we go to church only if someone

[00:03:38] getting married or someone dying but not until 1984

[00:03:45] when my two older brothers they started attending a christian center on wednesday night

[00:03:50] where the government at that time they allowed christian students to attend christian classes in wednesday night and

[00:03:57] that’s when they accepted christ through paso alfred william he was an egyptian

[00:04:02] grew up in sudan he was working for an american organization called um sorry

[00:04:07] ambassadors for christ uh but in a church building it called s.i.m sudan intermission

[00:04:14] and that’s where my brothers accepted christ as the lord and savior um the transformation of their life how

[00:04:21] jesus changed their life thus attracted my parents to start attending that church

[00:04:26] in 1987 he was 11 years old and that’s when i accepted christ as the lord and savior during a revival meeting

[00:04:33] wow that’s awesome uh right immediately after that the lord really gave me a heart for the

[00:04:39] muslim people especially that uh prior to that i was attending islamic classes and even if

[00:04:45] they succeeded to not attend islam as a class as a lesson

[00:04:50] they still give us islam during the arabic lessons using quranic verses or during history

[00:04:58] during every opportunity they have they will insert islam

[00:05:03] our way and as i studied islam in school i realized that they have no

[00:05:08] hope of salvation i i know a lot of my kid friends

[00:05:14] kids in the school they really work so hard to please allah they they trying to work to fast ramadan to

[00:05:21] pray five times a day but still they have no assurance of salvation and when i came to know christ as the

[00:05:28] lord and savior i discover that there is this is what the muslims they need to know

[00:05:33] that jesus can save them for for sure that he they can have that guarantee

[00:05:38] they’re safe so a lot of muslims you would say actually live in fear that i’m not do am i being good enough that i

[00:05:46] allah is going to actually accept me and i want to get to go to heaven yes for example allah is listed more

[00:05:51] than 20 times as allah is love or loving god but

[00:05:56] always when they mention the word allah is love right after that there’s a list of conditions

[00:06:02] that they have to meet to be loved by allah and deep in the heart of every muslim they know they cannot meet his

[00:06:07] requirement to be loved by him oh wow yeah and that’s vastly different of course than christianity and the fact

[00:06:14] that we’re saved by grace and god’s love for us is not based on what we do absolutely while we are yet sinner

[00:06:19] christ came and died for us amen so um now when did you move to

[00:06:24] america and uh you’re here right here locally in san diego now no i am in orange county oh okay okay

[00:06:31] southern california we do a lot of work in san diego and other places uh i came to united states in 1996

[00:06:38] and sadly i get distracted in the american lifestyle like

[00:06:44] work longer hours and pay more bills not until in 2000

[00:06:52] i was working in a market and a homeless man asked me to if i can allow him to take

[00:06:58] the empty boxes to sell them to make some money and i started allowing him to do that one day he came to share the

[00:07:04] gospel with me the homeless man yes wow he found that he found that i am a christian

[00:07:09] and it is awesome but um

[00:07:15] when he found out i’m christian and shared with him about sudan and what’s happening in sudan the persecution and the killing over two million christians

[00:07:22] in sudan uh he asked me to write my name in a piece of paper and two weeks later he came with a flyer

[00:07:28] and my name in it as a guest speaker to downey california christian businessman

[00:07:34] and and it’s amazing how the lord used that one meeting the homeless man did this yes

[00:07:40] let’s go back a little bit uh maybe

[00:07:46] the owner is a christian guy in paramount california he bring homeless people he give them

[00:07:52] to allow them to use shower and stuff in his house and every monday he do bible study for them

[00:07:57] and those that they willing to change their lifestyle uh they he will give them to train them how to fix piano and he

[00:08:04] will give them job and that guy uh now he is actually like a manager to that piano store wow that’s

[00:08:10] amazing it’s just awesome but uh he’s an amazing guy and 20 years later just recently when he spoke in the same

[00:08:17] uh dominic christian businessman meeting which is awesome but in that meeting he brought key

[00:08:23] individuals arabic christian pastors and other leaders and it’s amazing this is this was just

[00:08:29] few weeks a few sorry few months before september 11. and a few weeks later after that meeting

[00:08:37] i was in anaheim at the arabic shopping center and i saw a vision of a big tent

[00:08:43] and muslims coming to hear the gospel and i went across the street right away and asked who’s the owner of this land i found

[00:08:49] that the doctor next door and i talked to him i found out he’s a christian he allowed

[00:08:55] me to do arabic christian book fairs and he also offered me a location for a christian bookstore

[00:09:01] and it’s amazing because uh once i had to sign up arabic christian education

[00:09:07] center two weeks later september 11th happened what a perfect timing

[00:09:12] muslims just because of it says arabic christian education center coming to me yeah americans that they have a heart

[00:09:18] for muslims they come to me and the lord start the entire ministry out of that place that is amazing

[00:09:24] right after september 11 it turned to a weekly mosque outreach every single friday until today we have

[00:09:31] multiple teams that we go to the mosques stand outside the mosques on fridays and he talked to muslims about jesus

[00:09:37] every single friday that’s incredible um my guest today is pastor george saeed

[00:09:42] his website’s ministry to muslims dot com and what we’re going to be talking about today is we’re going to be talking about what’s going on in america with

[00:09:49] the muslim population and also how to reach muslims i mean there’s amazing things going on that he’s going to share

[00:09:55] that are happening right here in san diego and all over the country where people are taking uh the opportunity

[00:10:00] to share the love of jesus with people that desperately need it and so um we’re going to be talking

[00:11:40] and then i’ve had a couple other people that reach out over in the middle east to um to people through the radio um to

[00:11:48] reach out to muslims through the radio and today we have pastor george saeed he is originally from sudan

[00:11:54] and gave his life over to christ at a young age and now he reaches out to muslims in america he’s

[00:11:59] in orange county currently his website is ministry to muslims.com and pastor george i wanted to ask you i

[00:12:04] want to get your perspective on that that this young woman who left

[00:12:10] america to go be with isis and um she says she was brainwashed she says

[00:12:16] she was tricked into thinking these things um is this is this something that happens a lot

[00:12:22] are there people that feel like they’re drawn into islam or they don’t they

[00:12:28] don’t get out and be able to hear other perspectives what is this something common or what’s going on there

[00:12:33] the situation of the part of her leaving to get married to an isis person

[00:12:41] it’s amazing i know a few ladies including a daughter of a missionary in

[00:12:48] europe she she’s american lives in europe with her parents and she also was about to

[00:12:55] leave to syria to marry one of isis leaders and um uh

[00:13:01] her parents contact us here trying to uh they they were able to stop her in that

[00:13:07] european country from leaving but they couldn’t hold her anymore because she’s 19.

[00:13:13] she’s the same age as yeah lady yeah because that’s why they’re choosing one like the after the age of 18 because the

[00:13:20] parents cannot control that individual and it was a crazy situation but i know also for

[00:13:27] another situation in pomona california where a lady she was about to take her six-year-old son with her to leave to

[00:13:33] syria and she’s she’s supposed to be a christian married to christian men she want to leave her husband and take her son and go to syria

[00:13:40] and praise the lord that they were able to stop her but there’s kind of quite a few situations like that

[00:13:45] um but why is it that i mean i i think about it i think how would anybody be

[00:13:51] compelled to want to join that what is it that that’s causing them to think to themselves hey i want to do this you

[00:13:57] know see they when they see the sin of america they think islam is holy they be drawn

[00:14:03] to the outlook of islam because they are really ignorant because there are so many rules

[00:14:09] to follow the rules of being like you said looking holy it looks from the outside holy but they

[00:14:16] don’t once they go in depths in islam they will know what islam really is i interviewed around five six years ago

[00:14:23] around 20 individuals that converted to islam and within three to four years five

[00:14:30] years they left one of them she actually married to a muslim she lived as a muslim for over 15

[00:14:36] 15 years she wrote a great book called married to muhammad it’s a really wonderful book to to read

[00:14:43] um and they all agreed they were ignorant about what

[00:14:48] islam is okay and that’s why when they discover what islam really is they left

[00:14:53] um but it’s in this situation with this lady is so hard to uh as a christian i am called to trust

[00:15:01] her to if she say she repented i i i understand that yeah as president trump position as a leader

[00:15:08] of this country and the responsibility of the safety of this country his shoulders i really believe he’s

[00:15:14] doing the right thing especially knowing in chapter 3 verse 28 of the quran

[00:15:20] calling muslims to deceive and to lie and to it called taqiyya to pretend if they are in time of war

[00:15:27] which isis they believe we are in time of war if they are in the land of the enemy uh

[00:15:33] they are they are permitted to lie and deceive wow and that’s why it’s really hard and my

[00:15:38] prayer that not she just repent from being part of isis because that’s not good enough i

[00:15:44] would love to see her coming to know christ as the lord and savior yeah that’s uh that’s amazing so

[00:15:50] you know um as far as muslims in this country would you say that a lard that that the muslims

[00:15:55] you’re reaching out to because you’re visiting mosques on a regular basis up in orange county um you’ve been doing that for how long now

[00:16:01] uh since 2001. wow every friday you’re going to the mosques now um when you go out there and you

[00:16:08] hand these out are you standing outside of the doors and giving them flyers or just engaging in discussion

[00:16:13] we offer we go to every mosque twice before we go to the next mosque and every thursday night we have a

[00:16:20] prayer meeting people can join us over the phone to pray with us and the first friday we go to that

[00:16:26] mosque we just offer gospel packages the package will include the jesus phone by campus

[00:16:32] crusade 20 uh 24 languages on one dvd wow we’re dealing with at least 16 islamic

[00:16:38] languages uh also of course majority of new generation muslims they speak english very well but

[00:16:46] also we include spanish because a lot of hispanic women converting to islam marrying to muslim

[00:16:51] men wow this is happening a lot in santa ana california and other areas oh i had no idea

[00:16:56] why why is that why are why are spanish women converting to islam they they are being targeted the reason

[00:17:03] citizenship uh they it will help muslims to get citizenship here but also out of ignorant not knowing

[00:17:10] what islam really is uh the english like is easier

[00:17:16] for even though out of ignorant american women marrying muslim men too that spanish uh in spanish there’s

[00:17:24] not a lot of material or islamic resources available in spanish language hispanic women would be more ignorant

[00:17:30] about islam than american women i see what you’re saying now um so um

[00:17:37] you know this is really interesting what uh when you’re out outside these mosques is there hostility

[00:17:42] at all or is it pretty um peaceful i i i am a witness that the

[00:17:47] majority of muslims are very nice yeah yeah absolutely very nice people yeah

[00:17:52] uh but um very few percentage of muslims go to the mosque

[00:17:57] and this is the serious muslims about their religion about pleasing god about following allah but the

[00:18:05] liberal muslims a lot of them they don’t go to the mosque and the this liberal nominal sometimes

[00:18:12] is maybe they seems like they’re open to talk yeah because of their culture very nice

[00:18:18] generous people they’d love to eat with you and and talk to you but they’re not interested in

[00:18:23] spiritual stuff as much the nominal muslims nominal muslims okay we do go to reach out to them in arabic

[00:18:29] festivals uh iranian new year outreach in irvine and other places

[00:18:34] we will meet fifty thousand forty thousand of them at each event but uh but i’m interested in the

[00:18:41] muslims that goes to the mosque the more religious they are the closest they are to the truth

[00:18:46] because they really they really think islam is the way but if they found the truth they will be

[00:18:52] following christ they will be willing to die for christ not carrying weapons but carrying the word of god to share the

[00:18:58] gospel with their own people the majority when we go to the mosque for the first time ever

[00:19:03] a lot of time even though they live in a free country they think that we are not having the freedom

[00:19:09] we should not be you’re not allowed to be in the sidewalk yeah and sometimes they call the police and stuff but we usually

[00:19:15] inform the city ahead of time and the police and chief of police and city attorney to inform them that we are

[00:19:21] coming under constitutional right and we are not coming as a protesters we our goal is to

[00:19:26] present christ and but even those events the first time

[00:19:31] we’re going to a mosque maybe they will be yelling at us and stuff but the same people that will be coming and hugging us and uh

[00:19:38] it’s just passionate culture yes yes yes so so i’m the reason i’m asking is because

[00:19:43] you know i know we have a mosque uh right down here in uh claremont and uh

[00:19:48] i’ve thought about that before um so do you um do you give people guidance on this so if somebody wants to

[00:19:54] get a hold of you and they’re like hey i want some guidance on how do i approach this in a way that’s not going to be

[00:19:59] you know controversial or anything absolutely we offer free training we don’t charge anything to come to your

[00:20:05] church to and and we never we will never offer any training unless if you are willing to do

[00:20:11] an outreach if you want us to come and train your people and take you to your first outreach uh we

[00:20:17] will do it uh absolutely free of charge i will also be more than happy to cook dinner for you middle eastern food

[00:20:24] i’m sold okay i would love to i would love to uh any church we would love to see more there’s fear in the body of

[00:20:30] christ yes there’s fear of reaching muslims and no matter how much i will talk about overcoming the

[00:20:36] fears i don’t think i would be able to convince you unless if you meet these people face to face

[00:20:42] they are made in the image of god there are people just like us majority of them are very kind very

[00:20:47] loving very nice people yeah but fear can stop us but also the penalty of leaving islam is death

[00:20:54] yes we need to understand also they have fear and they have struggles as well yes and i want to talk more about that

[00:21:36] and so um this is our opportunity where we don’t have to go to a middle eastern country where the penalty

[00:21:41] for sharing your faith is imprisonment or something worse but here in america we have that freedom

[00:23:52] happen this is there’s no this is not theoretical he is out there at the mosques sharing the love of jesus with muslims

[00:23:58] and so um pastor i wanted to ask you what um give us some stories of what

[00:24:03] happens how do you go about uh a very um give us a very practical

[00:24:08] example of sharing your faith with a muslim you here you are you’re outside the mosque they’re coming out and what happens next

[00:24:15] what do you say just to prepare you if you want to do it um

[00:24:20] i encourage you first if this is what god calling you and you have a heart for these people

[00:24:25] yeah i would like to ask you to pray from all your heart for iraq for syria pray not just for the

[00:24:31] christian brothers and sisters but play pray for the salvation of the muslims pray for peace for these countries

[00:24:37] pray for one country after one country islamic country because one of the ways i started my

[00:24:43] conversation with muslims where are you from they would tell me from iraq oh i’ve been praying for your country and that one

[00:24:51] sentence will break walls they will be so open you are praying for us

[00:24:56] and and you see that i care about them and that’s really a great door opening i love for us to talk to

[00:25:03] them uh but uh i i try to keep it the the gospel message after that like

[00:25:11] how how do you know if he died today where are you gonna go and stuff like that i i bring them just the average gospel

[00:25:17] message the romans wrote you can use yes people think they have to have a special way magical way

[00:25:23] to reach out to muslims is the word of god that we don’t need anything else more than the word of god

[00:25:29] but we do need to be also equipped in how to defend our faith apologetics people think only apologists

[00:25:37] only certain people have to be that but no we are all called in uh first peter 3 15 says that for us to

[00:25:45] be ready to give an answer about the hope that we have to give a defense for what we believe and um i think

[00:25:53] a lot of christians talking to muslims and when muslims raise an objection they will just the

[00:25:58] christians will try to dismiss that objection and say oh jesus loves you and you want to walk away

[00:26:04] muslims think that christianity is not worthy for us to stand for we are not firm in what we believe we

[00:26:10] are not standing to they’re very passionate they love talking they love arguing that’s what i’ve noticed i’ve noticed

[00:26:16] that a lot of muslims um are very intellectual in the sense that um they they want to have good reasoning

[00:26:22] behind why they believe what they believe and that’s why we have to be ready to give them a defense for the trinity

[00:26:28] defense for uh the deity of christ just one one simple one i think a lot of

[00:26:33] young people our university and colleges converting to islam and i heard some of them went to these

[00:26:40] lectures by them or they’re sharing their testimonies why they became muslims one of them

[00:26:45] simply they told him show us the word trinity in the bible he couldn’t find the word trinity he

[00:26:50] converted to islam oh my goodness i want you to be ready if you are in the university in college right now

[00:26:57] we believe in trinity the triune god muslims believe in to hate they interpret the word to hate as just

[00:27:03] god is one let’s say that’s fine i have objection about that the word the meaning of the

[00:27:08] word in arabic but let’s go with their interpretation it means god is one the word of hate is

[00:27:13] not in the quran the word trinity is not in the bible the word tahit is not in the quran

[00:27:18] if a muslim come to you and telling you that show me the word trinity in the bible ask him if he will

[00:27:24] is ready to become an atheist or agnostic first because if that’s a good reason for you

[00:27:30] to leave christianity then it’s a good reason for him to leave islam oh wow it’s very simple stuff we can turn the

[00:27:35] table around and show them the problem they have worse problems than that yeah i love that and i mean that’s not real

[00:27:40] complicated but you’ve got to know it right you’ve got to be able to articulate that yeah i um there’s so many interesting

[00:27:46] things too about about that um i heard recently well i’ve looked into this but that jesus

[00:27:53] name is mentioned somewhere around 80 or 90 times in the quran by muhammad four or five times

[00:27:58] yeah yeah and so that’s really interesting too that there’s amazing things about jesus in the quran but i

[00:28:04] don’t believe he’s the same jesus of the bible jesus in the quran is the word of god jesus in the quran is sinless jesus in

[00:28:10] the quran is with god the only one the quran says that jesus for sure god took him to himself remember god is

[00:28:16] not in the garden when even even adam was there god is not it cannot enter

[00:28:21] our universe today and god is not going to be in the in heaven in paradise one day but

[00:28:27] whatever god is jesus is that’s the only one in the quran says that he

[00:28:32] is with god right now wow now how do how do the muslims how do people you know you’re talking on

[00:28:37] the outside of the mosque how do they respond to you when you share these kinds of things what happens a lot of time they come to a place where

[00:28:43] they have no logic the quran said that it have to be true the quran says that jesus is not god the quran says jesus cannot

[00:28:49] did not die in the cross or there is some kind of conflict about that topic the crucifixion is not clear

[00:28:55] in the quran but the majority of muslims interpreted as the quran reject the crucifixion of jesus christ

[00:29:00] actually the quran according to the majority of muslims god took jesus and put someone else in the cross

[00:29:07] as a result he deceived all the people the thing that jesus died in the cross as a result he deceived the best

[00:29:13] followers of jesus they went and preached that message and they were killed for it because allah has deceived

[00:29:18] him and that’s linked to the verse in chapter 3 verse 54 they deceive the jews allah deceive and allah the

[00:29:26] best of all deceivers allah deceived them by taking jesus and put someone else in the comments yeah

[00:29:31] it’s very sad yeah if this god did that how can i trust him how can i follow him

[00:29:37] how can i trust a god that even though i saw him by my own eyes being crucified but he deceived

[00:29:43] me i went and preached if i was one of the disciples i went and preached that message i was killed for that message

[00:29:49] and it was a lie because allah has this evening not until 600 years later muhammad came

[00:29:55] to tell us that allah has deceived us does it makes sense my muslim friend

[00:30:01] yeah does it make sense god is not a liar god will never lie god will never deceive his

[00:30:06] god in the bible he his plan is for good not for evil for us

[00:30:11] he loves the dwelling among his people when god in chapter 3 genesis chapter 3 when he was asking

[00:30:18] adam where are you he’s not not knowing where adam is he

[00:30:23] was seeking that conversation that relationship with us in islam there’s no relationship

[00:30:29] between god and man allah is very far away from the distance he’s a distance the best the closest we can be he’s our

[00:30:36] master and where he’s a slave that’s the closest but in the bible god jesus calling us his

[00:30:43] what yeah what jesus is his brother yeah our brother and god is our father our father

[00:30:50] uh it is it is focus let’s focus when we talk to the muslims about our god and then

[00:30:57] they will desire to know him we don’t need to start with oh your god is a deceiver and all that stuff that but you need to know

[00:31:04] that information yeah but don’t share that right away with a muslim they will be offended or something but

[00:31:09] let’s let’s tell them about our god and do we love to know him but as i told you about all these great

[00:31:15] things about jesus in the quran even though the quran say all these great things i would never give the quran credibility to proof jesus deity

[00:31:22] what i do i will ask the muslims all these things the quran say about jesus but i bring them another verse where it

[00:31:28] says jesus is not more than a prophet jesus just like adam i asked them is this make sense to

[00:31:34] you he has all these great things he’s sinless he’s coming back to judge the world

[00:31:40] only god can judge the world yeah but according to the quran jesus is going to come and judge the world but why i say he’s not the same

[00:31:47] jesus because he is not more than a prophet he is not the son of god if he’s not the son of god and he’s just a prophet he’s

[00:31:53] not good enough to die for my sins that’s right yeah and also if he did not die on the

[00:31:58] cross then he cannot rise from the death and what the bible say our faith will be in vain our

[00:32:04] an entire thing is in vain yeah if jesus did not rise from the dead then whether he showed the muslims the

[00:32:10] contradiction they have about jesus and tell them and bring them to the bible tell them let me show you

[00:32:16] why he is a word of god why he is sinless why he is coming back to judge the world let me show you from

[00:32:21] the bible who jesus really is because the jesus of the quran is not the jesus of the bible

[00:34:27] in the news there’s been a lot in the news recently about a woman who left for isis and she said she make the

[00:34:34] made the biggest mistake of her life and um she writes here this was a letter she wrote to her family

[00:34:40] she destroyed described her experience in syria she said in my quiet moments in between

[00:34:45] bombing starvation cold and fear i would look at my beautiful little boy and know that i didn’t belong here and

[00:34:51] neither did he i would think sometimes of my family my friends in the life that i knew and i

[00:34:57] realized how i didn’t appreciate or maybe even really understand how important the freedoms that we have in

[00:35:02] america are i do now and this is a woman muthana who left at 19 to join isis and now was

[00:35:10] trying to get back into the u.s because she says she made this huge mistake and

[00:35:16] i think for each one of us we don’t want to underestimate the freedom that we have and that if we

[00:35:21] don’t take advantage of those freedoms those freedoms can disappear and i think for a lot of christians

[00:35:26] there’s a fear of reaching out to muslims because oh what’s going to happen to me or is my life going to be in danger or

[00:35:34] is somebody going to be hostile towards me but the the fact of the matter is is that you know if you if you don’t use it you

[00:35:40] lose it if you don’t you use your freedoms you lose your freedoms and in america today we have the freedom

[00:35:45] to be able to go down to the beach to share the gospel to go out in front of a mosque to go to the local mall and

[00:35:51] this is something that has to happen in american churches the churches have to get involved in evangelism they have to

[00:35:56] get a wake up and begin to get out of the church doors and start reaching their communities for christ and a lot of churches are doing

[00:36:04] that but a lot of churches aren’t and so i just want to encourage you um i hope that god is touching your heart as

[00:36:10] you’re we’re listening to pastor george here share um about this ministry so pastor george i wanted to ask you what

[00:36:17] happens when you know how have you seen people come to christ outside of the churches um mosques i’m sorry outside of the

[00:36:24] mosques um and and how does that go when there’s so much fear involved in leaving islam

[00:36:30] uh the process of muslims coming to christ it can take years there’s a lot of fear involved and

[00:36:36] also the only unforgivable sin in islam is includes to believe in jesus as god

[00:36:44] satan want to make sure that they will not come to him and accept him as the lord and savior of the life

[00:36:49] what is essential to our salvation is the unforgivable sin in islam which is shirk

[00:36:55] to believe in multiple gods but their understanding of the triune god the trinity

[00:37:00] as a multiple gods because not just their misunderstanding but the allah of the quran the god of the quran

[00:37:06] is misunderstanding the trinity as well uh by saying

[00:37:11] muhammad he put a conversation between god and jesus allah telling jesus did he tell the

[00:37:16] people to take you and your mother to god’s beside me he included mary as part of the trinity

[00:37:21] not the holy spirit and also the quran says say not three and also there’s tons of verses

[00:37:28] attacking the deed of christ the sonship of jesus this is the most unforgivable

[00:37:35] sin in islam to believe that jesus took is god except the work of jesus christ on the cross and that’s why

[00:37:42] it’s very slow process but praise god this burden is not in our shoulders yeah in jesus christ he took care of it

[00:37:49] on the cross yeah he took care of it and the only one can open their hearts is the work of the holy spirit

[00:37:55] is for us to be available for us to share the gospel message for us to pray for them and let the lord to do the work because

[00:38:02] many muslims coming to christ through dreams and visions the majority of muslims coming to christ

[00:38:07] dreams vision but also about persecution is always persecution is always from the day that

[00:38:14] of the disciples to today always persecution but jesus told us what to carry our cross

[00:38:19] that’s right and follow him jesus he told us that in the world we’re going to be uh persecuted you’re going to have

[00:38:25] tribulation but we have to trust he overcome the world blessed are you when you’re persecuted for my name’s sake

[00:38:31] and the more persecution the more people coming to know christ across the islamic world 2015 there was

[00:38:38] a lot of persecution in syria and iraq and other places the most year that we have christians being

[00:38:44] killed for their faith is 2015 but also 2015 is the most here that we see muslims coming to know christ as the

[00:38:50] lord and savior wow when a muslim know who christ really is

[00:38:56] as i said earlier they will be willing to die for christ not caring not killing people not caring bombs not

[00:39:01] carrying the sword but carrying the word of god sharing the gospel with their own people i i don’t like it when muslims

[00:39:08] um we’re trying to give them a way out that you follow christ but you don’t have to call yourself a christian

[00:39:14] there’s something called the common word between us there’s something called common ground insider movement removing the son of god

[00:39:21] out of the bible to make muslims happy i don’t follow any of that we need to preach the gospel as it is we have

[00:39:27] absolutely no authority to change the word of god and they will follow christ when they

[00:39:33] are called when when the holy spirit open their heart when they see who christ really is and what he’d done for them come to know

[00:39:40] him you know it’s interesting because i actually met a muslim guy i was talking to him at a i

[00:39:45] was actually at an open house on a sunday and this um guy walked in and he

[00:39:50] he had a really strong accent and um i said oh where are you from and he he told me i can’t remember now

[00:39:56] off hand where it was iran or iraq and and i immediately asked him oh are you muslim and he said no i’m a christian

[00:40:03] and i said really i said he said i used to be a muslim but i’m a christian today and i said uh i said i i know that it’s

[00:40:10] hard for a muslim to leave islam and become a christian i said was it hard for you

[00:40:15] he said to me it’s the hardest thing i ever did in my whole life he said i lost my entire family they all disowned me and you know he

[00:40:22] looked very distraught over it and i and i said was it worth it to you and he said

[00:40:29] it was the best decision i ever made in my life and uh that just spoke volumes about what

[00:40:34] you’re saying too is that he said that it’s everything it’s truth it’s god’s love

[00:40:39] um i’m freed from that bondage of being tied to i’ve got to do this i’ve got to do that

[00:40:45] and the constant pressure of trying to meet these impossible expectations

[00:40:51] and so uh it’s pretty amazing they are when they come to know christ

[00:40:58] as the lord and savior they like i have couple people they come and ask me do i have to tell people

[00:41:04] i tell them you don’t have to tell them but what if they ask you jesus say if you deny me in front of people will deny

[00:41:09] you in front of my father but the same individual that was they were asking me that

[00:41:14] when they came to know christ they couldn’t shut their mouths they start telling everybody about jesus yeah

[00:41:19] how can they find jesus and keep him secret how can they no and the thing is too is that these

[00:41:24] people are living in bondage they’re living in um you know i was reading an article quite a while back in

[00:41:29] the new york times talking about the incredible uh there was a high suicide rate among muslim women they were talking about and

[00:41:36] not too long ago two young girls here in america actually killed themselves because they were going to be sent back

[00:41:41] to the middle east they were teenage girls they were sisters and it’s bar it’s horrible what happened they

[00:41:47] they purposely duct taped themselves together and threw themselves into the river and because they didn’t want to go back

[00:41:52] to the middle east and it just shows that um the bible is very clear that people have been taken captive by the devil

[00:41:59] and uh islam and you know muslims the people are not the enemy uh the devil yeah the teaching

[00:42:06] of the quran is our problem yeah i i don’t see a muslim can be 100 following the quran

[00:42:14] and be also a peaceful american citizen i i don’t see that but praise god the majority of muslims

[00:42:20] are very bad muslims they don’t follow them they don’t follow the teaching of quran

[00:42:26] but i really encourage uh the christian community to reach out to these people what an amazing

[00:42:31] opportunity you have for example if you go to saudi arabia as an engineer or doctor you have to sign a

[00:42:37] document you cannot take your own bible with you but we have over a hundred thousand saudi arabian students in our campuses

[00:42:45] in university and colleges across america what an opportunity we have to share the gospel message with these

[00:42:50] people what an opportunity we don’t have to go to the middle east they are here yeah during the summer they come

[00:42:58] for vacation and they’re gonna go back you never know again if they’re gonna hear the gospel message or not amen just one small story a friend of

[00:43:06] mine she was at the arabic festival in dearborn michigan in 2006 and she was wearing a cross and

[00:43:11] a muslim lady she saw that cross she tried to communicate with my friend deborah she couldn’t she brought her

[00:43:17] daughter to translate she said her job in yemen was to break rocks and to get a smaller rock out of that

[00:43:23] big rock and to polish it and make it a jewelry but one day she broke a rug and that’s 10 years prior to that conversation

[00:43:30] she founded the smaller rock it looked like a hill with a cross mark on it she kept it for 10 years she

[00:43:36] did not know what that cross meant she did not know she kept it for 10 years

[00:43:42] but that day she insisted that the next day deborah will meet her she brought the the rock with her when deborah saw that

[00:43:48] rock with the cross on it she stopped crying the muslim lady really wanted to know why you are crying

[00:43:55] and her daughter was translating deborah said jesus said if my people did not cry out the rocks would cry out

[00:44:01] jesus did not find someone in yemen to tell you about him he led the rock to cry out to you she

[00:44:07] kept it for 10 years she knew there was a message behind it but not until that day when she hear the

[00:44:12] gospel that’s incredible it’s amazing he doesn’t need us he can let the rocks to cry out but what

[00:44:18] an honor that he willing to use us to reach out to those our neighbors the doctors the

[00:44:25] engineers the people that in our city everywhere we can see in anaheim just go and in san diego here the somali

[00:44:31] community in my entire life i met only one somali christian one somali christian she lives

[00:44:37] in anaheim that the only one i know we have thousands and thousands of them

[00:44:42] in san diego here what an opportunity absolutely pastor george um we’re almost out of

[00:44:48] time here but um tell our listeners about um what’s going on with reaching um

[00:44:53] all the homes in in san diego and so forth yesterday at uh lunchtime we had a meeting with over

[00:44:59] um 200 people from 75 different churches it was really awesome a ministry partner
