[00:00:51] no different he has a very unique story though he was a New Ager with lots of

[00:00:57] experiences out-of-body experiences he had spirits speaking to him in different languages animal spirits connecting with

[00:01:03] them he was involved with UFOs and aliens but today he’s a he’s a pastor

[00:01:10] and his name is strat Goodhue strat thanks for being on the show today my

[00:01:16] pleasure thanks for having me Kevin okay fantastic well I’m really excited about

[00:01:21] hearing your story you know the New Age movement is a really big deal nowadays and so pastor Stratton you’re up in

[00:01:28] Washington is that right yes brenton just ya know okay great

[00:01:34] let’s go all the way back to the beginning so how did you get involved in the New Age movement in the first place

[00:01:39] well I started having some out-of-body experiences about four years old

[00:01:45] well drift up off of my my bed when I was sleeping while I was sleeping and and it happened every year too and then

[00:01:54] it started happening more and more and I learned how to control my direction and learn how to fly so to speak out-of-body

[00:02:00] and travel around the world and it’s mainly how I got into it now what do you

[00:02:06] say to somebody because I’m sure some of our listeners are thinking wow that’s pretty wild and there’s people are that

[00:02:11] are skeptical about that sort of a thing how do you how would you respond to somebody who said you must be you know

[00:02:17] hallucinating or something these couldn’t be real out-of-body experiences that’s happening what would you say well

[00:02:24] I think probably the best evidence for it is being a real spiritual experience was it was a radio program in Hawaii and

[00:02:32] this gal named Alison Parker and she would interpret some people’s dreams and I had called her up and long story short

[00:02:40] I went visited her one night in my sleep and then called her up the next Friday night on the radio she had a radio program called her up on the radio

[00:02:46] program again and and I described what her house looked like what she was wearing and she asked me to draw the

[00:02:53] diagram of her house and so I cheat and when I called her on the phone the second time she told me she said you

[00:02:59] came and visited me and I said that’s right she said you came into my kitchen I said that’s right you know the exact

[00:03:04] experience that I had and I never met this woman before in my life and so I

[00:03:09] drew a diagram of her house and it was exactly accurate except the dog dishes

[00:03:15] were in the wrong place and yeah just about a foot away from where I drew them and the whole image was a mirror image

[00:03:22] but it was a custom home and very unique so it was uh you know anyway yeah

[00:03:29] evidence yeah well now is this something because you know you don’t hear that

[00:03:34] kind of a thing too often is this something that’s common in the New Age movement or is this unique to you or

[00:03:40] what’s the story there common in terms of out-of-body experiences yeah are a

[00:03:46] lot of people able to travel around the world like you were doing and be unable to control these experiences that you

[00:03:52] were having like like you were doing I don’t know actually on the numbers but I

[00:03:57] know there are quite a few there’s actually people and different like in Hinduism and different you know mystics

[00:04:03] and different religions that claim to be able to do the same thing so it’s not

[00:04:10] exclusive to the New Age movement so what what I mean you if you just started

[00:04:15] happened you have four years old this is very I mean this isn’t something you’re

[00:04:20] like well I want to get involved in the New Age movement I think I’m gonna have out-of-body experiences what do you

[00:04:26] reddit this to where does this come from did your family have a background in or involvement in occult things or what was

[00:04:33] going on there they don’t know I about half a block away from the beach in

[00:04:40] Hawaii on Oahu and there was a lot of people buried the Hawaiians were buried

[00:04:47] and graves near the beach in the old days and you know hundred years ago and

[00:04:53] so I don’t know if something like that might have started it so I don’t know exactly but I got more and more involved

[00:05:00] in the New Age movement too you know the things like you said you know having spirit speak to me in the Hawaiian

[00:05:06] language I had you know contact with UFOs and got into spirits I mean into

[00:05:11] crystals and also an animal spirit contacted me so I got deeper and deeper

[00:05:18] in but I don’t know exactly why it started and when you were getting more

[00:05:24] and more involved at you know as you’re going through these experiences you’re going into you know elementary school

[00:05:30] junior high high school where were you at in high school had you fully embraced this idea did you have the concept of

[00:05:38] Christianity were you exposed to Christianity at all what was going on in your mind in your heart as it pertains

[00:05:43] to you know Christ and so forth well I try my parents were divorced when I was

[00:05:50] five and then I my father would take us to a what I would call a dead religious

[00:05:56] church so it was religious but had no personal relationship with God sort of

[00:06:02] thing and so I’d had little exposure in that way but to me it wasn’t real my

[00:06:09] mother was an atheist and so I decided I was an atheist and just I didn’t believe

[00:06:14] in God and I’ve always been very skeptical you know I wouldn’t believe something unless I saw it or had proof

[00:06:20] of it but as these out-of-body experiences became more common and more

[00:06:26] frequent it became undeniable and it got to the point where several times a week

[00:06:33] three or four times a week I was traveling and going all over the world and it was amazing

[00:06:40] experience and and also also having like the Hawaiian spirit this would seem to

[00:06:48] be a Hawaiian spirit speaking to me you know Hawaiian language and describe an event that I hadn’t even known it

[00:06:54] happened and I wrote down the Hawaiian words and then I looked it up and English wine dictionary and it told me

[00:07:01] something that has happened and basically a spirit that was in the house I was living in had gone up to the

[00:07:06] mountains and I asked my ass about it

[00:07:12] that someone who would know and they said well actually they had come spiritually into our house and found a

[00:07:18] spirit there and invited them to go up to this place one a valley on the other

[00:07:23] side of the island where there were lots of other spirits up in the mountains there and and so you know these things

[00:07:30] were very validating to me even though I was a skeptic I couldn’t deny the

[00:07:36] reality of the spiritual dimension Wow yeah absolutely and what about like your

[00:07:42] friends and and others who you would share these experiences with how did they respond when you talk to them about

[00:07:47] these sorts of things probably the way I would have if somebody came up to me and

[00:07:53] I didn’t know about and it sounds pretty bizarre and you know people talking about communicating with UFOs and animal

[00:08:01] spirits and you know it it sounds pretty crazy yeah so I didn’t talk to a lot of

[00:08:07] people about it unless as I got older there were people in a New Age movement that would you know be sympathizers yeah

[00:08:15] yeah so so that’s interesting you know the New Age movement in America seems to

[00:08:20] be growing would you say that that that’s the case yeah it definitely seems to be and I’ve been out of the loop with

[00:08:27] them for a long time of course but yeah it seems to be coming more going more

[00:08:32] mainstream yeah and and from your perspective when you started to get more

[00:08:38] involved in the New Age movement what was the formalized what what is the

[00:08:45] formalized teachings of the New Age movement I mean what about it would cause you to be you know designated as

[00:08:52] somebody who is a part of the New Age movement if if somebody were to

[00:08:57] ask you that you know you we know what a Hindu is we know what a Mormon is what is somebody who believes in the New Age

[00:09:02] movement a new age from my understanding it’s very eclectic you know they’ll take

[00:09:09] things from all over the place and there’s there’s not a lot of hard and fast rules so some people might be into

[00:09:16] crystals or might be into you know like out of body experiences or different sorts of things and it would all fall

[00:09:23] under the New Age movement some would say that it you know may come so much

[00:09:28] from Hinduism and the whole idea of you know relative truth you have your truth

[00:09:34] I have my truth we each have our own experiences and we can decide what our

[00:09:39] realities are and we can control and create our own realities and the sort of

[00:09:46] all blended in but it’s very overlapping hard to put it down as you know they

[00:09:51] believe in these seven rules or me sure sure okay well if you’re listening today my guest today is strat Goodhue and he

[00:09:59] was involved in the New Age movement at a very young age but ultimately he became a Christian gave his life over to

[00:10:06] Jesus Christ and today he’s planning a church in Washington and he’s written three different books how to know the

[00:10:12] will of God the place of joy and a different life all three of these books

[00:11:54] programs out there strat good here we just had our first segment and he was talking about his growing up in Hawaii

[00:12:00] where he actually talked to a Hawaiian spirit he actually had these out-of-body

[00:12:05] experiences he was involved in the New Age movement and strata you were saying

[00:12:11] that it’s kind of hard to nail down the New Age movement it’s very fluid in the sense that unlike a lot of religions

[00:12:17] where there’s a there’s a formal belief system it’s kind of make your own religion in a sense a lot of what’s

[00:12:22] called syncretism where people are pulling beliefs from different places and kind of combining them together into

[00:12:27] what they want to believe is that is that correct yes and the idea probably

[00:12:33] ties in the movement really ties in well with the idea of evolution that people

[00:12:39] are evolving and the idea of the New Age movement is we’re all progressing and evolving not only physically but

[00:12:46] spiritually in that you know we’re getting better and better and becoming a better race of the species of human

[00:12:54] beings which it seems we’re not yeah yeah I would agree you know evolution

[00:13:01] tends to teach that everything goes from worse to better but the Bible teaches us that everything started out perfect and

[00:13:06] has been getting progressively worse because of sin right so so question for

[00:13:14] you you know somebody might be I’ve had students that have that have considered getting involved

[00:13:20] in the New Age movement they’re interested in these out-of-body experiences you know it’s it’s very

[00:13:25] popular in our culture and media witchcraft Wicca contacting the spirits

[00:13:31] what would you say to somebody who’s who’s dabbling this you know there’s even Christians that are getting

[00:13:36] involved in this and they they kind of combine aspects of Christianity with the New Age movement is there any danger in

[00:13:44] that is it is this just harmless fun or is there something that what kind of

[00:13:49] warning would you give to those getting involved well I as I said started having

[00:13:55] spiritual experiences the out-of-body experiences and my spiritual experiences

[00:14:01] increased the frequency over the years and it was twenty five years later that

[00:14:09] I realized that the whole thing was a deception that I had been spiritually

[00:14:15] deceived I used to think I kind of got this idea that anything that spiritual

[00:14:21] must be good I never really thought through it that it just you know the spiritual was wonderful you can have

[00:14:26] great sensations and you know experiences and it’s about attaining

[00:14:31] enlightenment and knowledge and power spiritual power but it’s a self-centered

[00:14:39] road and it’s actually as I came to learn over time interacting with demonic

[00:14:47] spirits and it was amazing to me to realize to come to the realization that

[00:14:53] I had been deceived by demonic spirits demons for 25 years of my life and half

[00:15:02] I was completely deceived and how did you how did you come to that knowledge

[00:15:07] that you were being deceived and what what kind of things were they deceiving you with what was it that these spirits

[00:15:13] were telling you that was causing you to to feel like wow I’ve really been deceived a lot of people I think might hear your

[00:15:19] story and think whoa that’s really cool you actually were able to travel out of your body and go visit people in other places and for some people that might

[00:15:26] seem kind of appealing to have some sort of power like that what what what

[00:15:32] ultimately was the law that was being told to you well I found out in different areas of my spiritual

[00:15:39] experiences like the out-of-body expansions there were things that didn’t line up like with me as a vision I had

[00:15:48] work or the out-of-body experience where I was outside of that gals house and

[00:15:53] then went into her kitchen and left and then called a radio program the next week and you know Center the diagram of

[00:15:58] it what her house looked like the house was a mirror image and like if you go

[00:16:04] into someone’s house you know the difference between what’s on the right and what’s on the left you can’t make a

[00:16:11] mistake and have everything on the left be on the right is just you know impossible you just doesn’t happen to

[00:16:17] here you would completely flip it in your mind and so that was a big red flag and I didn’t know what to make of it at

[00:16:26] the time and so that I just kind of filed it and in my mind I said I know

[00:16:31] what to think of that it’s exactly accurate everything is flipped around and so that was one of the the big

[00:16:39] things that showed me that I was being deceived eventually when I and I really

[00:16:46] didn’t have a deep sense of peace in my life I would meditate I would had all

[00:16:52] these crystal thousands of dollars worth of crystals I would I was really into it and even though the experience of flying

[00:16:58] in my sleep it was a made and I did a couple times when I was awake but the

[00:17:05] experience was amazing as you can imagine the sight being able to fly but I still didn’t have a deep sense of

[00:17:12] peace or perfect in my life it was a there was something that was missing and

[00:17:18] and as I you know started to realize that these spirits were deceptive I had

[00:17:24] a friend a roommate who she was married to a my business partner and she was a

[00:17:31] psychic and she would tell me things that were very accurate about things

[00:17:36] that were going on currently but when she would try to predict the future it

[00:17:42] was kind of hit and miss and I you know that was a big difference as well and of course we know

[00:17:47] Bible it says that if a prophet makes someone that says that a prophet makes

[00:17:52] one single prophecy that doesn’t come true they’re false prophet yeah nothing

[00:17:58] to do with them and Deuteronomy 18 and so that was a it

[00:18:03] was something that I saw became very clear to me that psychics and she believed she made some of the people on

[00:18:09] TV look like amateurs you know she was amazingly accurate about things that

[00:18:15] were going on currently you know she definitely was in tune with spirits but they couldn’t tell the future and

[00:18:21] there’s such a radical difference with the Bible where it is just filled you

[00:18:27] know over a quarter of the Bible is prophecy telling the future in advance over 2,000 offices have already come

[00:18:35] true exactly as they are written it is radically different yeah the New Age movement or these other

[00:18:43] psychics is that kind of what led to you writing the book your first book I believe how

[00:18:48] to know the will of God living a life of knowing God’s will right decision making an intimacy with God

[00:18:54] yes it is and I I when I and maybe one more note along a thing of the spirits

[00:19:01] kind of tie into a couple your questions I had made an offering one day to some

[00:19:06] the Hawaiian spirit I was on and driving across the yeah the mountain one and I

[00:19:18] stopped my car put this offering in the in the tree and I went home and I

[00:19:25] thought oh I should put Hawaiian rock salt on it the spirits like that so I went back to go take some rocks off back

[00:19:32] to put with his offering and as I go back to the spot I pulled my car over and I walked over with this wine salt

[00:19:39] and I got about sixty feet away from where I had placed the offering and the fruit in the tea leaves and and I

[00:19:46] started walking over toward it and I walked into what felt like was it was

[00:19:51] like a wall of just the darkest most

[00:19:57] most evil wicked foresight I’d never imagined that such an evil entity could

[00:20:03] exist and there I was making this offering thinking you know I’m pleasing

[00:20:10] the Hawaiian gods eNOS a good thing and it was all positive you know the New Age

[00:20:15] movement is all about positive energy and and so I was just you know had a very positive approach to it and as I

[00:20:22] walked up to this offering it just I just hit this walked into this wall of

[00:20:27] spiritual evil and it was just as president of so really to just feel it

[00:20:33] and it occurred I thought is this are these the spirits that I’ve been making

[00:20:38] offerings to is this with the Hawaiian gods are really about and over time in

[00:20:46] different ways it became so clear to me that it is absolutely different as you

[00:20:52] know the myself and other New Agers at the time we would say well the

[00:20:57] Christians are very narrow-minded and they like to have their rules and put things into a narrow box but you know

[00:21:03] the truth is so much bigger than that and you don’t have to be so narrow-minded but I came to find out

[00:21:10] that the Bible is absolutely correct specific on everything it says and you

[00:21:15] know one of the things that when I asked Jesus Christ to come into my life and to

[00:21:21] forgive my sins I felt that peace for the first time in my life but I had never felt before it wasn’t a result of

[00:21:27] meditation it wasn’t anything I worked myself up to it was a wholehearted experiment I said okay God I was

[00:21:36] listening to a Christian radio station I felt that it’s just a love of God coming

[00:21:41] through those guys on the radio so I just said okay God if the Bible is true that we’re all separated from you by our

[00:21:49] sins and Jesus is if he’s real and came in the you know the world died for our

[00:21:55] sins and I just prayed and he said Jesus if you’re real coming to my life and

[00:22:00] forgive my sins and the moment I prayed that prayer I felt a peace I had never

[00:22:06] felt before and God it was it wasn’t religion nobody talked me

[00:22:11] into it it was Jesus Christ himself the Spirit of God came into my life and

[00:22:17] radically changed my life and I prayed about things like my out-of-body

[00:22:22] experiences and I said God these things are so exhilarating so fun you know if

[00:22:28] they’re of you then I pray that you would increase them but if they’re not of you then I pray you would protect me

[00:22:36] from them and like I said I was having three or four a week and as soon as I

[00:22:42] prayed that prayer I didn’t have any more out-of-body experiences I have one

[00:22:48] every every year or two now but it’s when I’m going through something in my

[00:22:55] life crowd intense spiritual warfare different things going on and I believe it’s a spiritual attack yeah it’s a

[00:23:01] spiritual deception Wow that’s powerful and that’s you know first John four

[00:23:07] right beloved do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God for many false

[00:23:12] prophets have gone out into the world by this you know the Spirit of God every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God and

[00:23:19] every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God this is the spirit of the Antichrist which you heard was

[00:23:24] coming in and now is in the world already my guest today is stracke Goodhue and he has an amazing testimony

[00:23:31] of somebody that was involved in the New Age movement for for more than 25 years

[00:23:36] and had a out-of-body experiences talking to spirits a listening to

[00:23:42] spirits in Hawaiian language all sorts of things but today he’s a born-again Christian and a pastor with ordained

[00:26:38] the book so so strat you turned your life over to the Lord what how old were

[00:26:44] you when you decided to believe in the Bible and move away from the New Age

[00:26:49] movement I was flirty okay and and so

[00:26:55] how did life change after that and when did you decide to get to move towards you know becoming a pastor and

[00:27:01] everything what motivated you in that direction well right after I asked Jesus

[00:27:07] Christ to come into my life and forgive my sins I had a sudden desire

[00:27:13] this insatiable appetite this hunger to read the Bible I just couldn’t get

[00:27:19] enough and I was just reading reading and listening to Christian radio and going to church and it was I was amazed

[00:27:26] at the church was nothing like what the church had gone to as a child a lot of people think of church you know it

[00:27:33] sounds like a boring experience but it was just amazing to be with people who

[00:27:39] knew the Lord personally and all have their own testimonies and and so right

[00:27:45] after receiving the Lord I I wanted to know if the Bible was really the Word of

[00:27:51] God you know I heard the story you hear about it is sort of like the game of postman

[00:27:56] where you know people sitting in a circle and one person whispers into someone’s ear and then that person goes

[00:28:01] to the next one the next one around the circle and the same message by the time you get to the end of the circle the

[00:28:06] last person in the circle says out loud what they heard and is totally different than what the first person said yeah

[00:28:12] well I had heard well the Bible is the same way that you know it was written down and and it got old manuscripts were

[00:28:19] getting old and so they wrote a new manuscript and over time it changed and so I I needed to know if the Bible was

[00:28:26] reliable and so I read a book one in particular called evidence of demands of

[00:28:31] verdict by Josh McDowell and a number of other books but it was evidence for the

[00:28:36] reliability of the Bible just overwhelming the manuscript evidence you know they have the Dead Sea Scrolls

[00:28:43] buried for thousands of years and what do you know they say the exact same thing as manuscripts that our Bibles are

[00:28:49] translated from and and on and on the archaeological evidence the prophecies

[00:28:54] in the Bible evidence for the Bible being the written message from God it’s

[00:29:01] overwhelming and so that was a huge benefit for me in my life knowing that

[00:29:08] we can trust the Bible it hasn’t changed from when it was first written and God really did breathe his

[00:29:14] Holy Spirit through the writers of the Bible to write exactly what he wanted written and we can hear from God by

[00:29:21] reading the Bible so that I started taking some Bible College classes and and then over time and as

[00:29:30] you know that Kevin having a relationship with God is not just like a religion God is real and he talks to us

[00:29:37] and he guides us in so many different ways and and he made it clear to me over time that he wanted me to to teach his

[00:29:45] word and to eventually to become a pastor and it just was very clear and he

[00:29:52] led me to move to Washington and but it’s wonderful that every day I get up

[00:29:57] tonight I spend time in prayer and ask her to speak to me through his word and and you know how it is God speaks to us

[00:30:04] having a relationship of personal relationship with the God who created

[00:30:09] the universe the guy who was outside of time and space who knows the future from

[00:30:15] the the end to the from the beginning he knows everything he can see it all at once that’s the God that we know and it

[00:30:22] is it is so much more of a fulfilling and peaceful life than what I had

[00:30:31] speaking from my own spiritual power and enlightenment and the New Age movement there’s no comparison between that and

[00:30:38] knowing the true and living God yeah it’s it’s really amazing to I you know I

[00:30:44] was listening to somebody on I was watching a video on YouTube a girl who was involved in the occult and they

[00:30:50] asked her why did you get involved and she said she said I got tired of waiting for God to answer my prayers and I

[00:30:57] decided I was going to make things happen myself in your experience in the New Age movement do you get a sense that

[00:31:03] that’s that there’s that general vibe of okay I want to take control of my destiny kind of thing yes and you know

[00:31:11] it’s interesting that you know in the beginning of the book of Genesis where

[00:31:16] the serpent you know the devil deceived Eve and he spoke to her and said you can

[00:31:23] be like God and that seems to be the the main motivating force for people in a

[00:31:30] New Age movement we can be like God we don’t need to wait for some God up there

[00:31:36] to tell anything we can be God we are God we are a part of God and they get this whole

[00:31:42] idea that you know I can get spiritual power I am part of God and you know

[00:31:47] there’s slightly different views in the New Age movement on that topic basically it is like you said it’s a quest for

[00:31:54] power and enlightenment and thrills

[00:31:59] being able to do all of that and that it is a self centered game even though they

[00:32:05] use the terminology of love a lot it’s basically about self and it’s said the

[00:32:12] lie of the devil you know don’t listen to what God says just hear you can be like God yeah I can do it yourself yeah

[00:32:20] I find it so interesting too because it like you said it’s very deceptive because you think oh I’m gonna be better

[00:32:25] off when I when I Drive the car when I’m in charge when I’m the master of my fate you know but the reality is is that God

[00:32:32] is so much wiser kinder more loving and more gracious than you know any plans we

[00:32:39] could make for our lives that like you said you’re you’re trading a really poor

[00:32:46] imitation of life for true life with God my guest today is track Goodhue and you

[00:35:25] mentioned that you were involved with UFOs what is the connection between UFOs and the New Age movement and what was

[00:35:34] your involvement there well it’s interesting that a lot of people that

[00:35:39] are in the New Age movement are the ones that are having experiences with UFOs like when I was in them in the New Age I

[00:35:47] was walking down the beach on Diamond Head with that psychic friend of mine

[00:35:52] and we decided to try to communicate with UFOs and so we

[00:35:57] up into the sky and and my psychic friend said you know if there’s someone up there please give us a high and at

[00:36:04] that moment we saw two lights come out from behind a cloud and and shoot over

[00:36:09] like about the speed of a meteorite or you know shooting across the sky and then they made a 45-degree angle in

[00:36:17] media sharp right turn and then continued in that direction across the

[00:36:23] sky and disappeared between a couple other clouds and we discussed the what we had seen we’ve both seen the exact

[00:36:29] same thing and so it was a you might say to some degree a verified experience of

[00:36:36] some sort of you know UFO encounter but

[00:36:43] over time you know especially after becoming a Christian I started thinking about that

[00:36:48] you know the idea that there would be you know spaceships up behind the clouds and they can hear or somehow you know

[00:36:55] sense our thoughts and we can communicate with them and they they can do these things you know the as you know

[00:37:03] the Bible says that the devil is a deceiver he’s in a and it’s called the

[00:37:10] god of this world and she doesn’t mind doing light shows and doing tricks and

[00:37:16] magic tricks did you hear about people turning into animals and just all kinds

[00:37:21] of bizarre things that you know the devil is a deceiver and he is called the

[00:37:28] god of this world for the reason you know it’s interesting that you hear about people being abducted and I think

[00:37:34] it’s the numbers and the thousands of people that say that they’ve been abducted by aliens and just those are

[00:37:41] experiences and you notice one thing that those people have in common zero of

[00:37:47] them are Christians there are no born-again believers of God who have

[00:37:53] these encounters with aliens and so I mean I personally am convinced that as

[00:38:01] the Bible says if the devil is going to be caught in there to be lying signs in

[00:38:07] the heavens in the sky that there will be deception in the sky vases there’s a one-world government

[00:38:13] well no the order is being formed and learn religion you know I believe that

[00:38:18] UFOs are probably going to be a significant part of that and it’s all part of the end times deception and the

[00:38:25] Bible predicts yeah so so you would say that these these aliens they’re actually spiritual

[00:38:32] they’re actually spiritual entities even demonic entities this I interviewed Gary Bates about this he wrote a whole book

[00:38:38] on called alien intrusion and they came out with a movie about it too talking

[00:38:44] about the out-of-body experiences people were having as well as the abductions

[00:38:49] people who are experiencing so you’re along those same lines as his viewpoint – mmm that’s great yeah the enemy is a

[00:38:58] deceiver and it’s something when people dabble in the spiritual world of you

[00:39:03] know crystals and mystics and out-of-body experiences and psychics and tarot card readings and all these

[00:39:09] different things they don’t realize how dangerous it is and they don’t realize

[00:39:16] the enemy has been what we call the you know our spiritual enemy the devil has

[00:39:21] been around in his demons have been around for thousands of years they’ve seen how people work they have studied

[00:39:27] humanity for thousands of years and if we think oh I don’t have to worry about it I’m smarter than if there is some

[00:39:34] kind of demonic force I’m smarter than they are good luck with that one because he’s a liar that’s what he does yeah he

[00:39:41] lies and he deceives now did you ever have any you know is there any

[00:39:46] relationship but with the New Age movement and things like possession or these sorts of things where people are

[00:39:52] getting involved with you know being manipulated or controlled by demons in

[00:39:58] that sense you know I don’t know um I don’t know on that I know that there’s a

[00:40:05] lot of people that battle like and like I know one person that was playing with a Ouija board and they were became

[00:40:13] demon-possessed as a result of that so I don’t know in terms of are there a lot I

[00:40:19] know that a lot of New Agers are very involved as I was

[00:40:25] Varian Paul with demons as far as demonic possession I don’t know if they

[00:40:31] I don’t know the answer to that question okay yeah it’s it’s it’s interesting

[00:40:37] that there is that connection between the occult spiritual warfare and UFOs it

[00:40:43] kind of all interconnected you know in that way and and I found that more and

[00:40:51] more kids I teach at a Christian high school but you know every once in a while I have a student who’s interested

[00:40:56] in dabbling in that sort of thing and again they’re they just don’t realize

[00:41:01] the significance of it or how it can affect their lives or you know drag them down in the wrong direction and it’s

[00:41:08] very deceitful yeah so there’s a book like Caryl matrisciana called the

[00:41:15] beautiful side of evil and a lot of these all these false religions on the

[00:41:21] outside it’s very appealing it’s beautiful and rainbows and love and

[00:41:26] unity and then all this stuff is very appealing and deeper and you get it’s

[00:41:32] like Buddhism I used to have a affinity for Buddhism and and you know if you get

[00:41:38] deep and deeper into it you realize that it gets darker and darker on the outside it’s you know Hinduism Buddhism the New

[00:41:46] Age movement all these false religions starts out very nice but it becomes more

[00:41:54] addictive more deceptive and darker the deeper people get into it absolutely
