About Kevin

Kevin Conover was handcuffed to an atheist to debate the existence of God for 24 hours by BuzzFeed on youtube. When he’s not handcuffed to atheists, he teaches Christians how to share and defend their faith in the Bible. He has been teaching high school and college students for more than 14 years, and has an MA in apologetics from Biola University.

Apologetics comes from the Greek word apologia, meaning a “verbal defense” or “reasoned argument.” The goal of Educate for Life is to help students understand why it is more logical, reasonable and beneficial to believe and follow the Bible than any other philosophical worldview. As you can see from the statistics in the video above, this is a very important need today. Educate for Life classes cover topics ranging from evolution and creation to world religions, homosexuality, “separation of church and state”, biblical history, biblical authority and others. These classes can be taken for credit at some Christian schools.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We Believe in the Scripture of the Old and New Testament as inspired by God, and inerrant in the original writing. Scripture is the supreme and final authority in faith and life. Scripture is useful to believers for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness.

We Believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

We Believe that man was created in the image of God, but because of sin, was alienated from God. Only through faith, trusting in Christ alone for salvation, which was made possible by His death and resurrection, are we reconciled to God.

We Believe in the eternal life of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.

We Believe the Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to make disciples of every nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and to teach all that Christ had commanded.

We Believe Jesus Christ will come again to the earth in power and glory both personally and visibly – to consummate history and the eternal plan of God.

We believe that God’s intention for marriage is one man and one woman for life and that God designed the sexual relationship to be solely between a married man and woman.

We believe in a six day creation as stated in Genesis 1 and 2 and Exodus 20:11, and espoused by Jesus in Matthew 19:4. We believe in a worldwide flood as described in Genesis 7:19 and referred to by Jesus in Matthew 24:37-38.
