No Bones About It

Did you know that sadness, uncontentment or anxiety can negatively affect your bones?

A recent medical discovery revealed risk factors for an onset of osteoporosis which included smoking, not drinking enough water, or consuming alcohol. Scientists have also found depression can be detrimental to our skeletal system. It was reported that depression caused inflammatory chemicals to deteriorate away bones. So, a depressed person does not have a merry heart and this will affect their bones.

The same observation was made by King Solomon almost 3,000 years ago. A joyful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit dries up the bones Proverbs 17:22. When the biblical account mentions science , we find it to be true. The Bible is truly the inspired Word of God. So laugh more this year and be joyful, it will refresh your bones!
